Create Again.

If you have fallen out of your creative practice,

If you are experiencing creative block,

If you are navigating a messy middle,

this collective is here to help you create again.

Meet the Artists

Dear Imperfect Artist, was created by imperfect artists. We wanted to build a space that would serve as a toolkit for fellow artists that also want to deepen their relationship to their creative practice.

We're here with you, pushing thorough our messy middles. Get to know us below.

Ashley Fluellen

Painter | Speaker | Imperfect Artist

Ashley Fluellen’s work is a celebration of imperfection.

As an oil painter, she captures stories. She creates portraits, using bright colors and abstract textures to showcase our “imperfect sovereignty,” or how our unique views, memories, and perspectives shape the worlds we create for ourselves. Her journey overcoming burnout has informed her passion to help others rediscover their creativity. She teaches art in Las Vegas, and co-founded Dear Imperfect Artist, an online collective of artists rediscovering our creative voice, sharing our unique knowledge, and cultivating meaningful artistic practices.
